TR Code of Conduct

Welcome to Trop Republic — where good music, good people, and good causes all meet on the same beach. Whether you’re a founding member or a first-time attendee, we want every experience with our club to be one worth repeating. To make sure that’s the case for everyone, we ask all members to embrace the spirit of this Code of Conduct.

Our Vibe (The Short Version)

Party with a Purpose. That’s not just a slogan — it’s how we roll. Trop Republic exists to celebrate island life, Jimmy Buffett’s music and legacy, and the joy of giving back to our community. That means every event, every post, every interaction should reflect those values: fun, kindness, and generosity.

Treat People Well

Trop Republic is a community built on respect — for fellow members, for guests, for our charitable partners, and for the venues and hosts that welcome us. Treat everyone the way you’d want to be treated at your favorite beachside bar: warmly, generously, and without drama.

This applies everywhere — at live events, at volunteer activities, and online. If you’re representing Trop Republic on social media or in any public forum, remember that your words and actions reflect on all of us.

Be Responsible

We’re here for a good time — and a safe one. Members are expected to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and to take personal responsibility for their own behavior. Know your limits, look out for your fellow Parrot Heads, and never put others at risk.

Trop Republic will not cover for, defend, or enable behavior that puts people in harm’s way — physically, emotionally, or otherwise.

Our Commitment to PHIP

As a proud member club of Parrot Heads in Paradise (PHIP), Trop Republic upholds the national organization’s values and bylaws. By joining our club, you agree to those standards as well as our own. You can find our bylaws and more at troprepublic.com.

When Things Go Wrong

We hope it never comes to this — but we’d be naive not to address it. The Board of Directors reserves the right to address conduct that harms the club’s members, reputation, or charitable mission. Depending on the situation, this may include a conversation, a formal warning, or in serious cases, revocation of membership.

Members whose membership is revoked due to a conduct violation will not be entitled to a refund of dues, concert tickets, or any other member benefits. This isn’t a decision we take lightly — but protecting our community is worth it.

Above all — have fun, be kind, and give back. That’s what Trop Republic is all about.
